Reference: invitation for Bids, Solicitation # 07/09-01 for (4) - 40 ft Heavy Duty Transit Buses On October 5, 2009 the bids were open for (4) - 40ft Heavy Duty Transit Buses.

Upon recommendation from the bid committee on October 5, 2009, Interstate Transportation was awarded the bid for WCTS.


Williamsburg City Transit System (WCTS) provides transportation services to the County of Williamsburg, South Carolina, seven days a week, 24 hours per day, with the exception of Christmas Day. WCTS services include demand response service and employment commuter service in the county and to Myrtle Beach. WCTS services are funded using Federal Transit Administration Section 5311 funds, state mass transit (see SC-DOT) funds and local funds.
